Installation fail / Only install the configurator , not the scene

Hi,

With the new installer downloaded today on simarket, when I launch Flightscene_Tahiti_and_Society_Islands_installer.exe, it only installs Tahiti and Society Islands configuration tool but not at all the scene. I tried several times with each time, the same thing, the scene does not install, it does not even try to read the file tahiti.pak.
If i try to run the configurator, nothing ...

An idea of what does not work?

What version of flight simulator are you installing into?

Don't use the current installer as it has a bug writing to the scenery library. I am currently updating the installer to fix the issue, it will be ready soon.

Just find the new installer in simarket.

Still don't install. Exactly the same problem as with the old installer.

THe scenery configurator don't run.

What folder is your temp folder in? Did the file browser start to ask you what folder to install the Flightscene folder into?

the installer don't ask me anything.
the temp folder is : C:\Users\Polo\AppData\Local\Temp

i found this file in the temp forlder : dd_vcredist_x86_20170909111804.log

Seems the VC redistributable failed to install and so halted the installation of the scenery. You should find the Flightscene folder in your temp folder. Cut and paste it to a location you want to install it to. In the tools subfolder start tahiti_config_tool.exe to complete the installation. After installation, add the following registry entry using regedit:

Under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\flightscene

create a new string value called mainpath and set the the value to the folder location of the flightscene folder.

I did everything that was requested.

tahiti_config_tool.exe is not working at all.

I'd try to unistall and reinstall VC redistributable. No pb with them.
