Flightscene.dll / Simconnect_text problem (FSX)

If you are getting an error about simconnect_text or a message about a problem with flightscene.dll when running FSX, this post will explain the problem and offer a solution.

The problem is that one of your addon modules is loading an older version of simconnect that is incompatible with flightscene.dll (there are 3 versions of simconnect).

To fix the problem, click the windows button on the bottom left and type in:

%AppData%/Microsoft/FSX

and press ENTER.

Email the following 3 files to support@flightscene.net:

EXE.XML
DLL.XML
FSX.CFG

The files will be re-arranged so that the newer version of simconnect is loaded first.

I sent you the files a few days ago, still haven't heard back, did you get them? Pretty disappointing that I (and looks like a few others) have had to go though this to get this working, if I even will be able to! Please advise the course I should take to make your software work.

Hi

Downloaded the scene yesterday and had to face serveral issues:

- the update of the installer got stuck at 2 of 3 -> had to install manually offline to avoid that
- it rebooted the whole dll - i had to click yes to "do you trust this SW" to all my add ons like PMDG, GSX etc etc (by the way my GSX and some of my PMDG aircrafts are gone!)
- and i have the famous error message that it cant find flightscene.dll if you click YES, FSX stops, if you click NO, you can go to the sceneray but none of the buildings appear (really none of the NTAA nor NTTB buildings appear at all).

I have sent you the three files requested below, how long would it take to have them back please?

Update:

Flightscene.dll is fixed, i changed the adress path in dll.exe.

However, I still don't have any Buildings at airports...

Animan runs ok when i start fsx,but still no buildings?
