flightscene.dll problem
Re: flightscene.dll problem
Have the flightscene.dll and the anima.exe any impact on P3D 3.x? Yesterday I noticed that they were not included in the .xml files and added them manually but could not spot any differences.

Re: flightscene.dll problem
Hi
Sorry is there another way instead of trying and trying to add this dll?
Don't know how many times I now pressed Ok without success. For me very frustrating because of a father of a small child, my time for FSX is limited anyway and now I loose so much time, trying to add this dll.
Regards
Patrick

Re: flightscene.dll problem
The DLL is needed for the airport grounds and 3d models. In the worst case, a reinstall of FSX usually fixes the problem.

Sorry but reinstalling my FSX not a solution for me. I have plenty of addons which are working great. My Sim is a work of months i spent.

Another thing you can try is to load another DLL. It may change the timing for FSX and get it to work. Try installing FSUIPC. You can download if for free from:

Re: flightscene.dll problem
Patrick, something you could try:
in your FSX configuration file, look at the "Trusted" section and check the flightscene.dll to see what status is has. It's going to be a 1 or a 2.
Try change it to the other value: if it's a 1, try 2 or vice versa.
Note: it is a wild guess. I remember it is something I have done in the past and right after restarting FSX, I got the Trust message popup which I acknowledged and the dll was accepted.
Good luck

Re: flightscene.dll problem
It finaly works.
Thanks for your help. PPO's advice also didn't work so I did the following step:
1.Deleted the 3 new Thrusted entries in the FSX.cfg.
2. Deleted the new entries in dll and exe
3. Started flightsim and pressed ok (thrust) when promted.
4. Added the necessery lines in to the dll and pressed ok when prompted.
5. Added the necessery lines in to the exe and pressed ok when prompted.
All this steps worked without issues.
Buildings are now present.
Hope to fly a bit tomorrow.
Kind Regards
Patrick

Bravo. You'll enjoy this scenery. I just finished a tour of 5 islands: 1 hr tour in thunderstorms and lightning before a dawn landing in NTAA.
It is a beautiful scenery.
