Autogen configurator merger not running FSX

Good Day
Just installed the scenery and all looks great except no autogen vegetation. I noticed upon first run the ACM program never ran. I assume this is the culprit for the lack of autogen. I successfully installed the latest ACM but when it runs is seems to have a problem with the default.XML.

Perhaps another add-on edited your default.xml file but did not format it properly.

Check the root element of your default.XML file. Go to your Flight SImulator\Autogen folder and right click on default.xml and select edit. The first two lines should look like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<AUTOGEN>

The default.xml was corrupt from another scenery installation i guess.
The ACM ran like a top and the trees have appeared.
